Job summary

TriplePoint is seeking a Director of Business Operations & Transformation in the Grand Prairie area (preferred) with travel to Cincinnati or Richmond. This role partners with executives to turn strategy into scalable operating models and technology-enabled processes, driving performance across multi-site businesses.

You will lead transformation initiatives, develop KPIs, dashboards, and governance structures, and guide change management to ensure sustainable impact and organizational capability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 10+ years in business operations, operational excellence, or transformation.
• 5+ years leading teams or large programs.
• Experience in multi-site, multi-business, decentralized orgs.
• Track record of large-scale transformation and technology implementation.

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible, cross-functional leadership role for someone who knows how to turn strategy into execution. You’ll partner with executive leaders and teams across Operations, IT, HR, Finance, and our operating companies to identify opportunities, simplify how work gets done, strengthen operational performance, and build scalable capabilities that support continued growth.

You won’t simply recommend change—you’ll help lead it. From operating models and process improvement to technology enablement, performance management, and organizational transformation, you’ll bring structure to complex challenges and help teams turn ideas into measurable business results.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

• Develop and lead business operations and transformation strategies aligned with TriplePoint’s growth priorities.
• Partner with executive and senior leaders to identify opportunities, establish priorities, and translate business objectives into actionable plans.
• Evaluate operating models, workflows, processes, and organizational capabilities to identify opportunities for greater efficiency, scalability, and performance.
• Build and advance operational excellence frameworks, standards, and best practices across multiple businesses.
• Lead complex transformation initiatives involving process redesign, technology, automation, organizational change, and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to create consistency across the portfolio while recognizing the unique operational needs of individual businesses.
• Partner with IT and business leaders to evaluate and implement technology that improves workflows, productivity, data visibility, and decision-making.
• Establish governance, prioritization, and accountability for major transformation and operational improvement initiatives.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and performance management frameworks that give leaders meaningful visibility into business performance.
• Use operational and financial data to identify performance gaps, evaluate opportunities, and recommend solutions.
• Lead change management efforts that drive adoption and ensure new processes, systems, and operating practices stick.
• Build organizational capability through coaching, training, tools, and resources that strengthen operational discipline and continuous improvement.
• Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with clear scope, ownership, resources, risk management, and executive visibility.
• Facilitate leadership discussions that align stakeholders, remove barriers, and accelerate decisions.
• Build strong partnerships across operating companies and functions, creating an environment of collaboration and shared best practices.
• Communicate transformation progress, business results, risks, and opportunities clearly to executive leadership.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone with:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in business operations, operational excellence, business transformation, continuous improvement, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years leading teams, major transformation initiatives, or complex cross-functional programs.
• Experience developing and executing operational strategies within complex, multi-site, multi-business, or decentralized organizations.
• A track record of leading large-scale transformation, process improvement, technology implementation, or organizational change.
• Strong knowledge of operational excellence and continuous improvement practices, including process mapping, workflow optimization, root cause analysis, and performance management.
• The ability to influence senior and executive leaders, build alignment, and move initiatives forward across multiple functions and businesses.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to turn data into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and performance frameworks that measure business outcomes.
• Experience working with ERP, CRM, Field Service Management, business intelligence, or related enterprise platforms.
• Strong executive communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.

What Will Set You Apart

While not required, experience with the following would be valuable:

• Experience in mechanical services, field services, industrial services, construction, manufacturing, or another multi-site service environment.
• Experience working across portfolio companies, decentralized operating businesses, or organizations experiencing significant growth or integration.
• Lean, Six Sigma, project management, or change management certification.
• Experience leading ERP, CRM, Field Service Management, automation, or other enterprise technology transformations.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or operating model transformations.
