Job summary

OpenWorks is seeking a Director of Business Development to shape and deliver high-impact strategies that bring cutting-edge counter-UAS technology into North American markets. You will own the full BD lifecycle—from strategy to winning bids and securing major contracts with defence and security customers.

You will drive growth by working with end users, partners, and internal teams to translate ideas into successful campaigns and lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in creating and executing growth strategies in the defense/security domain.
• Proven track record in winning major bids and contracts.
• Ability to communicate complex tech value propositions to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation of business-winning strategies and campaigns to secure new orders in North America.
• Own opportunities from concept to profitability and sustainable growth.
• Develop compelling bids, proposals, and customer-focused value propositions.
• Collaborate with strategic partners and represent OpenWorks in presentations and events.
• Travel across North America to engage customers and partners.
• Ensure compliance with company processes and US/international laws.
