Hourly Pay Range:

$74.78 - $115.91 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Location: 4901 Searle Parkway, Skokie IL
  • Full Time
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 5:00pm
  • Hybrid Position
  • Some local travel expectations to other corporate sites (Arlington Heights - Warrenville) will be expected.

Job Summary:

As the Director, Business Applications at Endeavor Health, you will be responsible for leading the development, testing, configuration, optimization, and implementation services of solutions specific to areas of responsibility. In this role, you will oversee the full life cycle management, from strategic planning, development, and maintenance to the launch of solutions and platforms. You will identify opportunities to reduce manual efforts, contribute to organizational growth, enhance patient and user experience, and create innovative solutions with operations. Developing and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to align technology solutions to the system's goals will be crucial. Additionally, you will promote the consistent use of available tools, techniques, workflows, and platforms.

The primary focus will be on Workday, Salesforce, and other enterprise business-facing applications.

To succeed, you should stay updated on the latest solutions and technologies and advocate for industry best practices.

What you will do:

  • Drive end-to-end activities for the assigned solutions portfolio and lead teams for high performance outcomes.
  • Provide direction for solution implementation including planning, technical setup, building, testing, training, deployment, optimization, and support.
  • Establish relationships with domain leaders to understand strategic business needs and user requirements; guide specifications for ease of business operations.
  • Lead or participate in governance committees to collaborate with key stakeholders on priorities and workloads.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure systems and solutions meet or exceed Endeavor Health's needs.
  • Mentor direct reports through oversight of activities such as budget management, policy development, talent acquisition, stakeholder relationships, governance, and other duties.
  • Stay updated on market technologies and promote relevant technology implementation. Participate in industry organizations like HIMSS, CHIME, Epic UGM / XGM, VMWare World, as appropriate.
  • Develop strong partnerships with other leaders to identify synergies and opportunities for improvement. Ensure seamless collaboration across functions for measurable outcomes.
  • Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for responsibilities and identify opportunities for technology and process improvements.
  • Independently develop recommendations and resolve complex HR, technical, or communication issues.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Five (5) or more years managing processes, applications, or systems in healthcare or related industries.
  • Three (3) or more years of leadership experience.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Five (5) or more years supporting Workday.
  • Three (3) or more years supporting Salesforce and other business applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of information processing fundamentals.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects efficiently.
  • Significant domain knowledge and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Strong personal and ethical accountability.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills for problem solving.
  • Curiosity, out-of-the-box thinking, and innovation.
