Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 10+ years in B2B technology marketing/communications, SaaS experience.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Senior-level experience in brand, integrated marketing, or corporate communications.
  • Proven ability to lead full-funnel campaigns across awareness, consideration, evaluation and conversion.
  • Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Brand, Campaigns & Communications based in United States. As the Director, Brand, Campaigns & Communications, you will shape how a growing B2B technology organization brings its brand, products, and company story to market. You will sit at the intersection of brand strategy, product marketing, demand generation, creative development, and corporate communications. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution across integrated, full-funnel campaigns and global communications. You will translate market insights and business priorities into compelling narratives that engage prospects, customers, employees, and industry audiences. You will also establish scalable processes, measurement frameworks, and creative standards that strengthen marketing performance. Initially operating as a hands‑on leader, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a high‑performing brand, creative, and communications team as the organization grows.

Accountabilities
  • Translate company priorities, product positioning, customer insights, and market trends into differentiated marketing themes, campaign pillars, narratives, and creative platforms.
  • Develop campaign messaging, proof points, creative direction, and calls to action that support both new‑customer acquisition and expansion within existing accounts.
  • Partner with Demand Generation and Channel Marketing to build integrated campaign strategies covering audiences, objectives, buyer journeys, content, creative, activation plans, timelines, owners, and success measures.
  • Map and develop the content, creative assets, and experiences required across awareness, consideration, evaluation, and conversion stages.
  • Lead campaigns from initial concept through development, launch, optimization, and post‑campaign analysis.
  • Coordinate execution across Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Channel Marketing, Sales, internal stakeholders, writers, designers, and external agencies.
  • Manage campaign timelines, dependencies, approvals, deliverables, budgets, and quality standards while establishing repeatable processes for efficient execution.
  • Lead global corporate communications and public relations initiatives designed to strengthen brand awareness, authority, and credibility.
  • Oversee corporate news calendars, press releases, media materials, contributed content, executive commentary, thought leadership, speaking opportunities, awards, and industry recognition.
  • Manage global PR agencies and external communications partners, setting priorities, deliverables, expectations, and performance measures.
  • Partner with leadership on sensitive, high‑visibility, or time‑critical communications and ensure messaging remains accurate, credible, and consistent.
  • Develop internal communications strategies that keep employees informed and aligned with company priorities, organizational changes, and leadership initiatives.
  • Partner with HR to support employer communications and awareness efforts that contribute to candidate pipelines and recruitment goals.
  • Establish measurement frameworks for brand awareness, campaign performance, public relations, and internal communications.
  • Analyze engagement, asset performance, account reach, conversion, pipeline influence, media coverage, share of voice, audience reach, executive visibility, referral traffic, and brand activity.
  • Present performance insights and recommendations to marketing and company leadership, using data and audience feedback to refine campaigns and communications.
  • Build scalable processes, templates, editorial standards, campaign frameworks, and governance for the function.
  • Manage budgets and external resources while assessing future needs for internal creative and communications capabilities.
  • Over time, recruit, coach, and develop writers, designers, and other brand and communications professionals.
  • Stay current on emerging brand, campaign, communications, and AI practices that can improve creativity, efficiency, personalization, and measurable impact.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of marketing or communications experience within B2B technology, including significant SaaS experience.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Senior‑level experience in brand, integrated marketing, campaign management, corporate communications, or a closely related function.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate company strategy and product positioning into compelling marketing themes, creative platforms, and integrated campaigns.
  • Proven experience planning and executing full‑funnel B2B campaigns across awareness, consideration, evaluation, and conversion.
  • Strong public relations experience, including management of agencies across multiple global regions.
  • Experience developing corporate, executive, thought leadership, and internal communications programs.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong creative judgment and the ability to provide clear, constructive direction to writers, designers, agencies, and other creative partners.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives involving Marketing, Product, Sales, and executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent project‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, contributors, deadlines, and approval processes.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience defining meaningful measures for brand awareness, communications, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Experience managing agency relationships, budgets, scopes of work, and performance.
  • Comfortable operating as a hands‑on individual contributor while establishing the foundation for a future team.
  • Proactive, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast‑growing environment where processes and capabilities continue to evolve.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, IT, or another technically complex market is a plus.
  • Familiarity with B2B demand generation, account‑based marketing, buyer journeys, lead lifecycles, and pipeline measurement is advantageous.
  • Experience supporting marketing and communications across North America, Australia, and EMEA is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with AI‑enabled tools for research, content development, creative production, personalization, and performance analysis is preferred.
