Job summary

Viridian Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a senior leader in Manufacturing & Supply Chain based in Waltham, MA. This director-level role influences internal and external teams to align operational decisions with program priorities, budget assumptions, and governance expectations.

The position requires 12+ years in biotech/pharma, a related degree, and proven ability to lead through influence in a matrix environment with strong executive communication. Hybrid office schedule three days on-site.

Qualifications

• Requires 12+ years of progressive biotechnology or pharmaceutical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated Director-level ability to plan strategically and execute with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Provide matrix leadership by influencing internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional partners.
• Lead contract planning, negotiation support, execution, and lifecycle management for Technical Operations.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, and stakeholders to ensure contracts include business terms, deliverables, and governance.
• Build relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders to support negotiation and timely execution.
• Support Technical Operations budget management, forecast updates, PO oversight, and variance analysis.
• Orchestrate governance meetings and business reviews with clear action tracking and risk escalation.
