Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field (Required).
• 7 years related progressive supervisory and project management experience (Required).
• Strong ability to lead and collaborate with clinicians, physicians, researchers, and hospital administrative staff.
• Regulatory knowledge in healthcare tech (FDA, JCAHO, NFPA, OSHA) and technology management.

Responsibilities

• Technology evaluation and recommendations for new technologies to support patient care.
• Develop and manage the preventive maintenance program and life histories for biomedical equipment.
• Cost containment in parts and maintenance to support equipment quality.
• Coordinate with clinical IT plans and hospital departments for smooth operations.
• Provide reporting to leadership on technology effectiveness and costs.
• Lead strategic planning for equipment acquisition and redeployment.
• Develop staffing models and training programs for biomedical equipment staff.
