Job summary

Lilly is hiring a Group Leader for Process Translation and Execution (PTE) to build a high‑performing team for the Lilly Medicine Foundry in Lebanon, IN. The role shapes purification and conjugation strategy across biologics, ADCs, and related modalities, driving pipeline delivery and professional growth.

The candidate will oversee tech transfer, CAPAs, and cross‑functional collaboration, ensuring compliance and right‑first‑time manufacturing across dynamic programs.

Qualifications

• PhD in biology/biochemistry or related field with extensive biologics DS experience.
• 12+ years in biologics DS development or manufacturing, 8+ in purification.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities.
• Deep expertise in chromatography, TFF/UFDF, viral inactivation, and viral filtration.
• Experience with process scale-up from bench to clinical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a PTE team of scientists with downstream bioprocessing expertise.
• Provide technical oversight for clinical DS purification and conjugation tech transfers.
• Lead complex deviation investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA closure.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to accelerate tech transfer and digitize docs/workflows.
• Represent PTE as SME during regulatory inspections and audits.
