Job summary

You’ll build and mentor a world-class engineering organization, drive system-level safety, redundancy, and productionization, and partner with research to translate breakthroughs into production self-driving technology.

Qualifications

• PhD with 12+ years, MS with 10+ years, or BS with 15+ years of industry experience in CS/Robotics/ML.
• Significant technical leadership experience with senior engineers, architects, or managers.
• Extensive knowledge of driverless vehicle system designs including safety and redundancy.
• Strong track record attracting and growing engineering talent.

Responsibilities

• Set technical vision and architecture for NVIDIA’s next-generation autonomous driving stack.
• Build and lead an organization across Prediction, Decision Making, Planning, Control, and Safety.
• Define integration of classical safety and learned driving systems within a production architecture.
• Drive end-to-end development from perception through trajectory building to vehicle operation.
• Collaborate with research to translate breakthroughs into production self-driving technology.
