RSM Risk Consulting

is currently seeking a highly skilled Technology Director who will be responsible for providing thought leadership, delivering technology solutions, and AI automations for our clients within the global banking industry, especially focusing on Internal Audit. The Technology Director will utilize their skills and capabilities to expand our client base, increase revenue, and build a reputation as a leading digital technology risk consulting practice.

RSM's Risk Consulting practice is a digital-first Consulting Advisory group that specializes in helping organizations identify, manage, and mitigate risks effectively. Our team of experienced professionals combines deep industry knowledge with cutting-edge methodologies and technologies. Our leadership brings decades of industry experience, a global perspective, and a passion for achieving results.

Responsibilities

1. Provide thought leadership, recommend, and implement technology solutions for our clients, from automation to AI/ML.
2. Collaborate and support growth initiatives by identifying client needs, RFPs, client meetings, proposals, and business development activities.
3. Architect scalable solutions and blueprints. Provide technical expertise and guidance on the selection, implementation, and optimization of tools, technologies, and platforms across multiple ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake).
4. Manage engagements and lead teams of product owners, designers, and engineers to solve complex business and technology challenges.
5. Recommend and implement improvements, design, and build new processes and tools, transforming and modernizing our clients' operations.
6. Facilitate user-centered design approaches, including interviews and workshops. Create customer personas, process flows, and identify pain points and opportunities for improvement, MVPs, and POCs.
7. Participate in industry associations and events to develop and maintain industry focus and relationships.
8. Recruit, develop, and inspire future leaders through coaching and mentoring.
9. Model RSM values of respect, integrity, teamwork, excellence, and stewardship in all interactions.

Skills and Qualifications

1. 12+ years of experience leading large-scale technology programs, transformations, and AI automations for financial services, especially for Internal Audit.
2. Experience within a consulting firm focused on technology consulting, process improvement, and modernization.
3. Strong technology acumen with experience in large-scale cloud-based software development and integration.
4. Experience with user-centered design, leading discovery, and developing solutions to business problems.
5. Proven leadership of agile delivery teams and adherence to best practices.
6. Ability to articulate complex technology issues to a business audience clearly.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Experience in developing proposals and business cases.
9. Support for practice’s thought leadership and knowledge sharing.
10. An undergraduate or master’s degree in computer science or a similar technical field.
