Job summary

Crowley Maritime Corporation is seeking a Director, Assistant Controller to lead accounting operations and financial reporting. The role requires strong internal controls, close management, and cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Tax, Treasury and Operations.

Experience with multi-entity setups, ERP systems (Oracle Cloud preferred), and process automation is essential. CPA and US GAAP expertise are required.

Qualifications

• CPA certification required and active.
• US GAAP knowledge and internal control design experience.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting functions and financial reporting.
• Manage month-, quarter-, and year-end closes.
• Oversee reconciliations, reporting, and controls.
• Establish policies and internal controls; drive process improvements.
• Partner with Finance, Tax, Treasury, HR, and Operations to meet objectives.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and resolve findings.
• Drive automation and efficiency in close and reconciliations.
• Support acquisitions, ERP implementations, and shared-service transitions.
