Job summary

ADUSA Distribution seeks a visionary Director of Asset Protection to lead enterprise security across a multi-campus network. You will guide 14 site Asset Protection Leaders and influence over 450 third-party security professionals, shaping policies and deploying advanced technologies to safeguard assets and people.

You will partner with regional leaders and legal teams to mitigate risk and drive continuous improvement while aligning with global asset protection strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years asset protection experience in distribution, retail, or a professional environment
• 7-10 years multi-site asset protection leadership experience
• Certified interview and interrogation training (Wicklander-Zulawski or Reed)
• Demonstrated experience analyzing P&Ls, exception reports, and operational metrics
• LPC or LPQ certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Set the vision and direction for asset protection across a multi-campus network.
• Provide governance to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to corporate security standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed team of asset protection leaders.
• Indirectly oversee 450+ 3PL security personnel and ensure consistent performance.
• Lead investigations, crisis management, and emergency response including civil unrest.
• Represent D&T in legal proceedings, depositions, and hearings with authority.
• Build relationships with senior leaders, law enforcement, and city officials to advance security priorities.
• Own and manage controllable expense budgets across sites including shrink, liability, payroll, and security spend.
• Deliver trend analysis and reporting to support regional financial performance and loss-prevention initiatives.
• Analyze shrink and security data to identify trends and risk exposure.
