Job summary

Legacy Search Advisors is seeking a Director of Asset Management to lead an experienced team and partner with executive leadership on portfolio performance and strategy across a growing Mid-Atlantic multifamily portfolio.

You will influence acquisitions, capital planning, and NOI optimization, guiding capital allocation and long-term value creation with a hands-on approach beyond routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing Asset Managers or similar professionals.
• Multifamily asset management experience.
• Strong financial and operational acumen.
• Experience overseeing budgets, NOI, CAPEX, business plans, and portfolio performance.
• Ability to collaborate with Operations, Finance, Construction, and Executive Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead an experienced Asset Management team and partner with executive leadership to drive portfolio performance.
• Shape investment strategy, capital planning, and long-term value creation.
• Influence acquisitions and portfolio performance beyond day-to-day operations.

$150K - $175K + Bonus

Not every Director of Asset Management opportunity is the same.

Some are maintenance jobs.

This isn't one of them.

Our client is a well-established multifamily real estate owner/operator with a large and growing portfolio throughout the Mid-Atlantic. With approximately 6,000 apartment units today-and another 1,000 expected through acquisitions this year- this is an opportunity to help shape the next chapter of an already successful organization.

You'll lead an experienced Asset Management team, partner directly with executive leadership, and play a significant role in driving portfolio performance, investment strategy, capital planning, and long-term value creation.

This is a position for someone who enjoys thinking beyond spreadsheets.

If you love digging into operations, identifying opportunities to improve NOI, influencing strategy, mentoring people, and having a seat at the table where decisions are made, you'll be in your element.
