The Director will lead fundraising, external relations and strategic initiatives, build strong relationships with students, faculty, donors and partners, and ensure alignment with university policies and goals.

Qualifications

• Lead a mission-driven cultural, academic, or community-engagement organization.
• Experience in organizational leadership, program administration, fiscal management, fundraising or resource development, and partnership building.
• Independently plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs and public-facing activities; manage priorities and deadlines; budget administration.
• Strong relationship-building with students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and community partners.
• Excellent written and oral communication, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of center’s subject matter or ability to develop that knowledge for program development.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and administrative leadership for the Asian American Center.
• Oversee programs, operations, financial stewardship, fundraising, external relations and daily administration.
• Build relationships with students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and community partners to advance engagement and access.
• Plan, implement and evaluate educational programs and community engagement initiatives.
• Ensure alignment with University policies and divisional goals and manage the Center's budget.
