Job summary

The Director of Accounts Receivable Contracts at Community Health Systems leads the AR contracts function in Franklin, TN, ensuring compliance with payer terms and optimizing revenue cycle performance.

You will manage a team, monitor contract adherence, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve discrepancies and drive process improvements that support financial health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in accounts receivable, revenue cycle management, or related roles.
• 2-4 years of leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements strategies to manage accounts receivable processes related to payer contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Oversees the review and resolution of accounts receivable discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitors accounts receivable metrics and KPIs, providing leadership with regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborates with revenue cycle, finance, and legal teams to address payer contract issues, negotiate terms, and optimize reimbursement.
• Leads process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounts receivable operations.
• Provides leadership and guidance to the accounts receivable contracts team, ensuring professional development and alignment with departmental objectives.
• Prepares and presents performance reports, data analyses, and compliance updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Maintains strong relationships with external payers, acting as a liaison to resolve issues and improve payer interactions.
