Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Manager, Accounts Receivable Litigation (REMOTE) in Franklin, TN, to lead a team handling managed care contracts and reimbursement calculations. You will coordinate with Reimbursement Administration and contract negotiators to ensure accurate contract terms and compliant processes.

The role partners with Managed Care and financial managers to support contract modeling and update coding methodologies, while overseeing system implementations and rate changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in managed care contract administration, accounts receivable, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and supports the performance of team members to meet departmental objectives.
• Manages contract implementation in the contract management system, including coding updates for new service definitions and rate changes.
• Ensures accurate interpretation and programming of managed care contract language to reflect negotiated terms.
• Works with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and verify contract calculations, guiding expressions and logic for accurate modeling.
• Monitors updates in coding schemes (ICD, CPT, DRG) to anticipate impacts on contract terms.
• Analyzes benchmarks and performance metrics to maintain operational effectiveness and compliance.
• Provides insights and recommendations to contract negotiators to ensure clarity in contract language.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
