Job summary

Denali is seeking a Director to lead its applied AI practice, driving AI strategy and delivering solutions in neurodegenerative disease research. You will partner across functions to identify high-impact problems and guide projects from idea to production, with strong emphasis on regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands-on experience with generative AI and LLMs, fluent Python development, and extensive exposure to regulated life sciences environments. Remote work is available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in computer science, AI, data science, or engineering.
10+ years delivering AI/ML solutions with hands-on generative AI and LLM experience.
Experience in regulated life sciences environments (pharma, biotech, medical devices) with GxP, ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF.

Responsibilities

Set AI strategy and roadmap for Denali's applied AI practice.
Design and prototype AI solutions from concept to production.
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact problems.
