Job summary

Elevate Recruiting is seeking a Director of AP Audit to lead and grow the newly created AP Audit practice, delivering client engagements across diverse industries. The role requires deep AP expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to build and scale a high-performing team.

You will partner with clients to optimize AP processes, identify savings opportunities, and drive cost reductions. The position also emphasizes business development and owning the practice's P&L to fuel growth.

Qualifications

• Must be an Accounts Payable subject-matter expert with leadership experience.
• Lead the AP consulting/recovery audit practice and manage client engagements.
• Provide strategic recommendations to reduce costs and improve AP operations.
• Drive business development and expand the practice with clients.
• Own the P&L and overall performance of the AP Audit practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AP consulting/recovery audit practice and oversee client engagements and team execution.
• Partner directly with clients to analyze AP processes, identify overpayments, duplicate payments, missed credits, vendor issues, and other savings opportunities.
• Make strategic recommendations to help clients reduce costs and improve their AP operations.
• Drive business development and help expand the practice with existing and new clients.
• Own the P&L and overall performance of the AP Audit practice.
