Job summary

University of Southern California seeks a Director, Ambulatory Care Management and Operations to lead the Value Based Services Organization. You will govern care management programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive outcomes, resource optimization, and care coordination across inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute settings.

You will supervise Ambulatory Care Management Managers, shape program strategy, mentor staff, and partner with USC Employee Health Plan and other leaders to achieve

Qualifications

• Requires BSN degree
• Five+ years clinical experience with ambulatory case management leadership
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of CM/UM/clinical standards and NCQA/CMS requirements preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for ambulatory care management programs and ensure alignment with enterprise goals
• Oversee program operations, staffing, and professional development
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care across inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute settings
• Ensure regulatory compliance and documentation across programs
