Job summary

Excelsior University seeks a Director, Allied Health Programs to lead CEPE's noncredit allied health initiatives, starting with Medical Assistant and CNA programs at the St. Petersburg, FL location. The role blends online learning with hands-on labs, and may be remote or hybrid with travel.

Reporting to the AVP, CEPE, the Director will drive program design, compliance, and market-responsive growth. Key duties include developing a multi-year portfolio strategy, budgeting and forecasting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in allied health, healthcare administration, education, workforce development, business, or a related field, or substantial directly relevant allied health program leadership, clinical education, workforce development, or business-building experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, launch, operation, and growth of CEPE's allied health portfolio, starting with Medical Assistant and/or CNA programs.
• Develop a multi-year allied health portfolio strategy based on demand, regulatory requirements, and financial sustainability.
• Create program business cases, budgets, enrollment forecasts, pricing plans, and dashboards.
• Ensure curricula, labs, policies, staffing, and disclosures meet certification, regulator, and employer requirements.
• Lead regulatory, accreditation, and certification activities with stakeholders.
• Establish lab safety, competency verification, equipment, and incident-response procedures.
• Recruit, supervise, evaluate instructors and program staff.
• Build partnerships with healthcare employers and community partners.
• Establish and lead an allied health employer advisory structure.
• Collaborate with marketing, enrollment, and student-support teams on recruitment and career readiness.
• Monitor enrollment, retention, completion, certification, and revenue; drive continuous improvement.
• Identify external opportunities to expand access and growth.
