Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Director, AIRx CRO & External Partnerships based in Cambridge, MA. You will own all CRO relationships, actively manage milestones, and coordinate with AIRx scientists to ensure timely, quality outputs feed AI/ML pipelines.

Travel domestically and internationally is expected; hybrid work is available. Qualifications include a life sciences or chemistry degree with 10+ years in outsourcing or CRO management.

Qualifications

• Degree in life sciences or chemistry; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in pharmaceutical outsourcing, CRO management, or alliance management.
• Experience building new capabilities and managing multi‑CRO programs.

Responsibilities

• Active CRO management with on‑site presence and performance oversight.
• Partner selection, contracting, and development of a preferred supplier network.
• Data handoffs to AIRx data systems and budget visibility to leadership.
