Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Business Director for AI/ML Product Strategy & Operations in San Francisco. This leader will define strategy, roadmaps, and operational frameworks for AI/ML platforms, enabling data scientists and engineers to train, deploy and scale models and generative AI applications.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, TPM, and partners to deliver end-to-end product operations, governance, and planning across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• At least 4 years of quantitative analysis experience.
• At least 4 years of qualitative analysis experience.
• At least 2 years of people management experience.
• At least 2 years of project management experience.
• Master’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop business strategies to drive growth, profitability and competitive success.
• May manage and develop multiple analysts; coach and mentor associates.
• Lead product level data modeling/analytics and pricing strategies.
• Direct-to-consumer and retail channel marketing insights and go-to-market strategies.
• Drive credit risk improvements by linking future trends to historical data and testing hypotheses.
• Oversee multiple projects and programs; translate strategy into requirements and execution.
• Collaborate with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to improve quality and profitability.
• Apply analytics to strategic decisions and maintain a quantitative orientation.
