Job summary

Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth in Washington, DC, is seeking a Director to build and manage the ecosystem of assets, tools, experts, and partners needed to scale social impact. You’ll lead cross‑functional work to accelerate data, AI, and tech-enabled initiatives.

You will enable exchange and use of Mastercard assets to advance the Center’s inclusive innovation agenda, and mainstream analytics to support internal and external engagements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS/DS/Engineering/Policy or related field with 5+ years in a technical role.
• Experience with ML methods and data mining; Python, R, SAS preferred.
• Experience managing philanthropic grants in the tech for good sector.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional leadership.
• Excellent English oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Scale use of data, networks, technology, and AI for social impact orgs.
• Build relationships with internal teams to align social impact lens.
• Lead grants and partnerships in Tech for Good strategy and center activities.
• Institutionalize data-driven decision-making across the Center.
• Translate insights into visualizations, demos, prototypes.
• Oversee proprietary tools development and vendor management.
• Support grantee data and AI maturity with programs team.
