Job summary

GE HealthCare seeks a Director of Engineering, Architecture to steer the architecture and technical strategy for the Imaging Fabric platform, enabling AI-powered medical imaging across on‑premises, edge, and cloud environments.

You will define enterprise architecture, drive modernization, and integrate AI capabilities into imaging products, leading global engineering teams and collaborating with product leadership to deliver enterprise-grade healthcare platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing and leading enterprise-scale software architectures.
• Experience with medical imaging platforms and DICOM/PACS workflows.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures across on‑premises, edge, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise architecture strategy for the Imaging Fabric platform.
• Lead the design of scalable, secure, high-performance imaging solutions across on‑premises, edge, and cloud environments.
• Drive platform modernization through cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering leaders to translate business strategy into scalable technical solutions.
• Enable the adoption of AI-powered imaging capabilities including visualization and intelligent workflow optimization.
