Pfizer seeks a Director, Applied AI (Horizon Scanning) to identify and translate emerging AI technologies into actionable opportunities for U.S. Commercial.

You will connect external AI innovation with Pfizer's commercial strategy, advising across customer engagement, marketing, and transformation roadmaps. You will monitor generative AI, agentic systems, and AI infrastructure, building structured horizon-scanning frameworks and concise executive updates for strategic decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical or business field.
• 8+ years in AI, technology strategy, or related roles.
• Proven ability to translate AI concepts into business opportunities and strategic recommendations.
• Experience monitoring external AI landscapes and distilling durable trends.

Responsibilities

• Identify emerging AI technologies and market signals relevant to U.S. Commercial.
• Evaluate feasibility, enterprise readiness, and potential value of AI opportunities.
• Create evaluation frameworks for AI products, vendors, and partnerships.
• Develop executive-ready insights and strategic recommendations for senior leaders.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with external partners and internal stakeholders.
