Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Director of Strategic Initiatives to translate ambitious growth plans into an integrated rollout across multiple teams. You will lead strategy-to-execution for accelerator pillars, build a robust operating system, and mobilize diverse functions to deliver measurable outcomes.

The role requires strong facilitation, executive communication, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while driving disciplined execution in a fast-moving enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in business transformation, strategic program leadership, or similar
• Track record leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact
• Ability to move between strategy and execution and manage ambiguity
• Exceptional facilitation and stakeholder-management skills
• Strong analytical and business-case capabilities; evidence-based decisions
• Executive presence and clear written/verbal communication
• Experience applying agile/OKR or similar operating models

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy-to-execution process for an accelerator pillar with a clear charter and roadmap
• Build and run the program operating system, governance, forums, cadence and risk escalation
• Mobilize cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, CS, Operations, Data & Analytics, Finance, Legal
• Facilitate discovery sessions to surface pain points and align stakeholders
• Maintain integrated view of scope, resources, sequencing and dependencies; secure talent and funding as needed
• Define success metrics and establish a fact-based performance rhythm
• Champion rapid experimentation and test-and-learn approaches
• Connect work across the full customer lifecycle to deliver a coherent journey
• Develop exec communications, SteerCo materials, business cases and briefs
• Partner on change management and capability building
• Capture reusable playbooks and lessons across accelerators
