Job summary

Meta's Manufacturing Engineering & Operations (MEO) is seeking a Director, AI Manufacturing Enablement to lead a team that identifies and deploys AI and automation across the MEO organization and partners. You will define the AI strategy for manufacturing and connect Meta's AI capabilities to hardware production realities.

You will build the team, set an AI roadmap, and own end-to-end lifecycle from problem definition to production deployment, driving measurable productivity and quality

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience across manufacturing/operations and applied AI/ML/automation with leadership experience
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments or leading complex operations with technology adoption
• Understanding of manufacturing workflows and where AI adds value
• Experience leading technical teams that ship products/tools iteratively
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and drive process transformation across engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Conduct systematic workflow audits across all MEO functions to identify AI/automation opportunities
• Develop and maintain an AI opportunity roadmap prioritized by impact and feasibility
• Scout adjacent organizations for tools and frameworks usable in manufacturing
• Translate Meta’s AI platform capabilities into manufacturing applications
• Build and ship AI-powered tools for workflows including defect classification, DFx review, predictive yield modeling, and AI-driven reporting
