Understood is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead AI-enabled product initiatives and manage a team of PMs. The role reports to the VP Product and requires a hybrid NYC presence.

You will define strategy for a portfolio of personalized consumer AI solutions, own KPIs, and partner with Design, Engineering, and Clinical experts to deliver impactful products. A strong candidate has 10+ years in product management and 3+ years of leadership in fast-moving environments.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years in consumer-facing product management.
• 3+ years leading product managers or a larger team.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy and roadmap for AI-enabled platform and flagship AI-chat.
• Inspire and lead product managers from planning to PMF.
• Address AI UX challenges including latency, trust, and privacy.
