Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Director, Investments & Liquidity to lead its Treasury investments and liquidity strategy. You will own the external investment program, architect in-house trading capabilities, and oversee policy development across Finance, Legal, and Accounting.

You will apply AI-enabled analytics to portfolio monitoring, IPS compliance, and executive reporting while ensuring SOX-ready controls and scalable operations. This role is remote-friendly with travel to SF and offices as needed.

Qualifications

Deep expertise in corporate cash investment strategy.
Experience with an in-house investment program and direct fixed income trading.
Hands-on experience with SMAs and investment policy design.
Experience developing Treasury policies and SOX-ready controls.
Familiarity with Investment Company Act of 1940 and exemptions.
Ability to operate at scale with large, time-sensitive cash movements.

Responsibilities

Own and optimize Anthropic's external investment program, including money market funds, bank deposits, and separately managed accounts.
Monitor external manager performance and maintain a manager bench with reporting.
Design and build a capital planning framework across liquidity tiers.
Develop and implement the investment policy statement and Treasury policies.
Provide CFO-ready reporting on portfolio performance and risk exposures.
Maintain custody connectivity and trading infrastructure.
