Job summary

Anthropic in New York is seeking a Director of Investments & Liquidity to lead the treasury function. You will own capital planning, implementation of in-house trading infrastructure, and oversight of external managers, reporting to the Head of Investments & Markets.

You will build AI-native investment workflows, coordinate with Finance, Legal and Accounting, and ensure SOX-compliant controls. The role requires 10+ years in treasury or fixed income, CFA preferred, and hybrid work with 25% office

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in corporate cash investment strategy.
• Experience with in-house investment programs and direct fixed income trading.
• Experience with SMAs, policy design, and external manager oversight.
• Familiarity with SOX-ready treasury controls and cash forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize Anthropic's external investment program.
• Monitor external manager performance and reporting.
• Design and build in-house investment capabilities and trading.
• Develop a capital planning framework across liquidity tiers.
• Maintain investment policy statements and related controls.
• Provide CFO-ready portfolio and risk reporting.
