Job summary

KrateoSky is seeking a Director of Information Security and Compliance to own the strategic security posture across KrateoSky and its portfolio. You will build an automated, audit-ready security engine aligned with CMMC Level 2 and FedRAMP, while guiding across Azure Gov/commercial environments and sensitive sites.

You will lead hands-on security leadership, drive continuous improvement, and partner with executives to ensure secure, compliant operations that scale with acquisitions and product

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of experience in Information Security, Cyber Operations, SRE, or DevSecOps.
• Proven track record in production security architectures and audits.
• Mastery of SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-171 (CMMC L2), and FedRAMP.
• AI-native tooling and automation capabilities; clearance eligibility a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and own KrateoSky's unified security architecture across KrateoSky and acquisitions.
• Lead audits and certifications for SOC 2 II, ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53, CMMC L2, FedRAMP.
• Provide security for physical/manufacturing sites including the Denton campus; support ISO/AS standards.
• Drive M&A cybersecurity diligence and post-acquisition security harmonization.
• Build an AI-first security operations center and automation pipelines.
