Job summary

Vanguard seeks a seasoned leader to build and guide a team of financial planning experts within the Advice and Wealth Solutions – Financial Planning R&D Team. You will shape offerings across advised and self-directed experiences and drive strategic planning initiatives.

You'll collaborate with product, technology, and methodology leaders to deploy innovative planning capabilities, oversee tool evolution, and develop high-performing professionals across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience, with 5+ in financial planning or wealth management.
• Experience developing or implementing planning methodologies or solutions.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Experience leading complex initiatives and programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Shape Vanguard's financial planning offerings across advised and self-directed experiences.
• Lead evaluation and deployment of new planning capabilities and tools.
• Partner with product, technology, methodology, and business leaders to bring ideas to market.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to deliver planning capabilities.
• Guide oversight and evolution of planning tools to ensure strong outcomes.
• Build, coach, and lead a team of financial planning experts with performance management.
