Job description

Job Description

Title: Director, Agency Partnership Operations

Location: New York City

We're MiQ, a global programmatic media partner for marketers and agencies. Our people are at the heart of everything we do, so you will be too. No matter the role or the location, we're all united in the vision to lead the programmatic industry and make it better.

About the opportunity:

We are seeking a highly organized, commercially minded operator to support our Agency Partnership leadership team and help scale strategic relationships across major agency holding companies. This role sits at the intersection of business development, operations, strategy, and executive coordination - helping turn high-level partnerships into actionable, measurable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate is equal parts project manager, operator, communicator, and relationship enabler. They thrive in fast-moving environments, bring structure to ambiguity, and know how to keep cross-functional initiatives moving forward across multiple stakeholders.

This is not a traditional sales operations role. It is a strategic partnership operations role focused on supporting senior business development leadership and driving operational excellence across agency partnerships.

Key responsibilities:
Partnership Operations & Execution
  • Support the senior Agency Partnership lead in managing strategic relationships across major agency holding companies and key agency partners
  • Drive operational rigor across partnership initiatives, including meeting follow-ups, action tracking, governance processes, and executive communications
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across sales, strategy, product, marketing, trading, and operations teams
  • Ensure partnership commitments, integrations, and commercial opportunities progress efficiently from discussion to execution
Commercial & Strategic Support
  • Help identify, organize, and track revenue opportunities, growth initiatives, and partnership priorities
  • Maintain visibility into partnership pipelines, joint business plans, account priorities, and key milestones
  • Assist in preparing executive-ready materials including QBRs, partnership updates, leadership presentations, and strategic narratives
  • Support planning and coordination for agency leadership meetings, offsites, industry events, and client engagements
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Serve as a central point of coordination between internal stakeholders and external agency partners
  • Help align internal teams around partnership goals, timelines, and deliverables
  • Improve communication flow and accountability across complex initiatives
  • Identify process gaps and introduce scalable operational improvements
Reporting & Insights
  • Develop and maintain partnership tracking frameworks, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms
  • Monitor partnership health, commercial momentum, and strategic initiative progress
  • Synthesize insights and provide leadership with clear visibility into priorities, risks, and opportunities

What you'll bring:

  • 5-10 years of experience in partnership operations, business operations, sales strategy, account management, media, advertising, or agency environments
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Strong executive communication and presentation development skills
  • Commercial mindset with an understanding of agency ecosystems, media, ad tech, or partnerships
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure where it does not yet exist
  • Highly proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools
Nice to haves:
  • Agency partnerships or business operations within ad tech/media
  • Holdco or agency account management
  • Strategic initiatives or chief-of-staff style roles
  • Revenue operations with strong external-facing partnership exposure
  • Management consulting with media/marketing industry focus

How success will be measured in this opportunity:

  • Partnership initiatives move faster and with greater accountability
  • Leadership has clearer visibility into opportunities, priorities, and risks
  • Cross-functional teams are aligned and operating efficiently
  • Agency relationships feel highly coordinated, strategic, and proactive
  • The Agency Partnership leader is able to focus more time on relationship building and growth strategy rather than operational coordination
