Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Director of AEC Technologies to lead Preconstruction, Supply Chain, Design, Manufacturing, Construction, and BLS Operations. This role ensures these areas operate cohesively with clear standards and aligned priorities, enabling scalable execution across regions and divisions.

The position emphasizes a connected operating model, reducing fragmentation and guiding technology deployment to support field and design environments.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience managing multiple functions or system areas in a complex organization.
• Strong understanding of construction workflows across preconstruction, design, fabrication, supply chain, and field execution.
• Experience defining and implementing operating models across distributed teams.
• Ability to align teams, systems, and processes without direct ownership of production outcomes.
• Strong communication and influence skills with the ability to engage executive, operational, and technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with enterprise platforms, solution teams, and IT organizations.
• Ability to prioritize competing needs and guide decisions that balance short‑term execution with long‑term scalability.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with divisional leadership, VDC production teams, IT, and executive stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary leader for Project Operations Solutions across the organization.
• Align solution leaders to ensure consistent direction, priorities, and execution.
• Partner with VDC Production leadership to align solutions with field work and projects.
• Mentor and develop Managers and Senior Managers for scalable leadership across POS.
