Job summary

Loyola University Chicago seeks an Associate Director for Academic Advising Technologies to lead how advising systems are used across campuses. The role partners with Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management, ITS, and school leadership to align technology with academic advising needs.

The position serves as systems administrator for the student management system, ensuring training and resources maximize system capabilities, with oversight from the Executive Director of Academic Advising.

Responsibilities

• Liaises with vendors of academic advising systems. Manages existing vendor contracts and ensures mutual compliance.
• Assesses new product features, conducts product testing, and partners with campus stakeholders to understand potential applicability to existing workflows and business needs.
• Manages process maps and workflow summaries for advising technology systems and key processes.
• Develops communications and resources to launch new features and systems improvements. Ensures broad and consistent communication to keep all relevant stakeholders informed of system changes, and supports campus partners to ensure successful adoption of emerging features and technologies.
