Job Description

NBCUniversal is seeking a Director to join the Advanced Advertising Strategy team to focus on developing the (1) performance advertising vision and playbook for Ad Sales and (2) sales strategy for Small & Medium Business Growth (SMBG)/performance advertising. You will design strategies, business plans, and make analytically driven recommendations to drive growth and yield. Responsibilities include evaluating products, offerings, and measurement solutions, tracking and growing SMBG sales performance, and communicating with executive leadership. You will own commercialization efforts and strategic partnerships, collaborating with Sales, Planning & Inventory, Insights & Measurement, Product, Sales Enablement, and Finance teams, providing expertise on the Performance/SMBG market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Small & Medium Business Growth (SMBG) Sales Strategy

  • Lead success and KPI tracking, providing insights for future strategies.
  • Maintain the ‘voice of customer’ to inform product development for client objectives.
  • Become an expert on SMBG and performance products to educate stakeholders.
  • Develop opportunity and white-space analyses to identify new product opportunities.
  • Provide business performance updates to executive leadership.

Performance Advertising – Product & Measurement Strategy

  • Define and shape the strategy and business plan for NBCUniversal’s measurement offerings.
  • Identify new strategies and solutions for revenue growth based on market needs.
  • Prioritize solutions and manage product roadmaps with partners.
  • Stay informed on measurement market trends and opportunities.
  • Educate stakeholders on NBCU’s measurement capabilities and insights.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in performance advertising, advanced advertising, or measurement roles.
  • Deep understanding of the customer journey and performance advertising’s role.
  • Knowledge of ads measurement methodologies and technologies.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization; willingness to improve these skills.

Additional Requirements:

This is a hybrid role, requiring at least three days per week in the office. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and other perks. Salary range: $140,000 - $180,000, with bonus and incentives.
