Job summary

AssetMark is seeking a Director of Advanced Planning within the Wealth Solutions group to influence strategic direction, development, and delivery of comprehensive planning for HNW and UHNW clients and advisors. You will partner across functions to evolve planning capabilities and provide thought leadership in estate planning and business transitions.

You will lead a team of senior planners, drive scalable processes, and collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing to integrate planning

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and advanced degree (e.g., JD, MST, MBA) required.
Active CFP® and CPA certifications required.
10+ years of financial planning experience, including complex HNW/UHNW engagements.
Proven expertise in estate planning, tax strategy, and business transitions.

Responsibilities

Lead and shape financial and estate planning strategy across AssetMark.
Provide unbiased, customized wealth planning guidance to high-net-worth clients.
Manage and mentor a team of senior financial planners.
Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing to integrate planning solutions.
Oversee delivery of high-impact financial plans, including retirement, tax mitigation, and wealth transfer.
