Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Director of Advanced Planning to lead client-facing estate planning for high‑net‑worth clients and their advisors. You will support regional teams, mentor others, and contribute to thought leadership while delivering a comprehensive planning experience.

The role is remote but requires residing within commuting distance to an Investor Center or Regional Center in CA, NV or UT, with travel typical between 5% and 20% of time.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years overall work experience with 4 years of trusts and estate planning, income tax planning or succession planning experience
• FINRA Series 7 and 66 acquired within 90 days of employment
• Estate planning, family wealth transfer planning, wills/trusts, income taxation, and trust and estate taxation knowledge required

Responsibilities

• Lead Advanced Planning for Fidelity’s regional clients and advisors
• Provide advisor training, regional business development and thought leadership
• Collaborate with the team to deliver comprehensive financial and estate planning support
• Travel 5–20% and work primarily via video with regional in‑person collaboration when possible
