Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing, preferably medical device industry.
• Proven track record of scaling manufacturing operations from pilot to mass production.
• Deep knowledge of automation, robotics, additive manufacturing, and other advanced production technologies.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management abilities.
• Deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and quality management systems.
• Deep understanding of medical device regulations.
• Commitment to sustainability and reducing environmental impact in manufacturing processes.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the Design Transfer and Commercialization roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Identify opportunities through business and customer insights to streamline transfer and commercialization.
• Lead development, design and implementation of advanced manufacturing equipment and processes to support production goals.
• Integrate automation, robotics, and digital manufacturing tools to optimize throughput.
• Oversee design, layout and launch of new production lines with program milestones.
• Collaborate with design engineering, product development, supply chain and quality teams for manufacturability and cost efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve production efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
• Partner with supply chain to align material flow and just-in-time inventory strategies.
• Develop, manage and track capital expenditure plans for manufacturing infrastructure.
