Job summary

Spectrum Reach seeks an Advertising Sales Director to lead local sales teams and drive revenue. You will develop strategic plans, mentor Sales Managers, and collaborate with internal groups and agencies to secure campaigns that meet client objectives.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, relationship building, and travel to client sites as needed to grow Spectrum Reach’s market presence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in media sales management or equivalent leadership roles.
• Experience with major agencies and large-scale campaigns preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

As Advertising Sales Director, you serve as an influential leader who oversees the management of the local sales teams. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and sales plans that drive revenue generation. Collaboration is the core of your work as you will work cross-functionally with a variety of internal teams and sales leadership, along with hiring, supervising, motivating, and training Sales Managers and teams. Required Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM REACH

• Experience: Media sales management (5+ years), management/leadership experience (4+ years), experience working with major ad agencies
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Skills: Communication, leadership, negotiation, strategy, collaboration
• Abilities: Relationship building, sales lead conversion, managing deadlines and priorities, developing new business opportunities, knowledge of sales reporting and systems
• Travel Abilities: Travel/client trips may be required

• Cable broadcast and television experience
