Job summary

System One seeks a Director of Acute Care Services to lead planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and supervision of the nursing regimen across Medical/Surgical and ICU units, including Respiratory Therapy.

You will provide clinical and administrative leadership, supervise staff, coordinate with physicians and the healthcare team, oversee recruitment and ongoing education, and promote patient-centered, evidence-based care through 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading acute care teams across medical/surgical and ICU settings.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary collaboration with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff.
• Strong focus on evidence-based practice, patient safety, and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the nursing regimen and related activities.
• Provide clinical and administrative leadership for Medical/Surgical and Intensive Care Units and Respiratory Therapy.
• Coordinate ongoing staff education, recruitment, orientation, and competency; ensure documentation is complete.
