Arch Insurance Group, a specialty insurer, seeks an experienced Director Actuary to lead a team delivering actuarial insights, monitor portfolio health, and drive pricing strategies across P&C programs. The role blends quantitative analysis with strategic leadership and tool development.

You will partner with analytics teams to deploy advanced models and support profitable underwriting for large, renewal, and new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• ACAS/FCAS or similarly qualified professional.
• 6+ years of actuarial experience with strong quantitative analysis.
• Leadership role with ability to influence business outcomes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Profitability reviews/new submission analyses to assess portfolio profitability.
• Monitor pricing adequacy, rate changes and underwriting mix for decisions.
• Actuarial studies to improve pricing parameters and segmentations.
• Provide actuarial pricing recommendations on large accounts.
• Design, implement, and maintain pricing and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with Strategic Analytics to deploy advanced analytics.
