Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Director of Actuarial and Risk Management Services to provide strategic leadership in actuarial analysis, risk adjustment, underwriting, and financial forecasting. The role partners with Finance, Clinical, Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure accurate risk assessment and sustainable growth while managing healthcare costs.

This leader translates complex data into actionable insights for pricing, product strategy, and enterprise decision-making.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• 8 years progressive health actuarial experience incl. pricing, forecasting, underwriting, risk adjustment, or related analytical work.
• 5 years leadership/management experience overseeing staff and complex projects.
• 3 years experience supporting commercial health plan products, rate development and regulatory filings.
• 3 years experience preparing actuarial analyses, forecasts, regulatory exhibits, or models.

Responsabilidades

• Lead actuarial, underwriting, and pricing activities across applicable lines of business.
• Oversee risk adjustment strategy, governance, forecasting, accruals, and performance monitoring.
• Provide executive oversight of delegated medical group risk adjustment strategies and coding performance.
• Conduct actuarial analyses to support product development, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
• Support regulatory submissions, audits, and governance; ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.
• Mentor and develop actuarial staff; improve processes and analytics capabilities.
