Job summary

OneDigital’s Health & Benefits actuarial team seeks an Actuarial Director to lead client deliverables, develop models, and guide analytics projects. You will interact with mid-management and C-suite clients, shaping strategies and overseeing complex studies.

The role covers financial projections, plan design, renewal negotiations, and enterprise data strategy, with opportunity to mentor staff and influence firm-wide analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant actuarial experience with credentials
• Experience leading and managing people
• 3+ years building risk models
• 3+ years client-facing responsibilities
• BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, finance, economics or related field
• Expert level of MS Excel (including VBA) and either R or Python

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of data and analytics strategies for clients
• Conceive and conduct actuarial studies
• Develop financial forecasting systems and explain variances to leadership
• Build and maintain actuarial models to measure spend and risk
• Mentor staff and manage team performance and hiring decisions
