Job summary

The National Association for Family Child Care is seeking a Director of Accreditation Operations to guide the end-to-end accreditation experience for family child care educators. You will ensure timely, fair processes while maintaining compassionate, educator-centered service.

You will lead a team, drive technology-enabled improvements (Salesforce, Monday.com), and partner with stakeholders to scale accreditation across states.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years leading multi-step accreditation or quality assurance processes.
• Experience interpreting, applying, and shaping policies and procedures.
• Strong collaboration across teams and ability to drive standards while allowing flexibility when needed.
• Proven leadership of a team (including remote staff) and budgeting.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred and beneficial for broad educator outreach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire accreditation experience from self-study to renewal.
• Create clear procedures and timelines to prevent bottlenecks and delays.
• Translate policies into simple steps, tools, and educator communications.
• Lead a responsive support team and track performance against goals.
• Manage observers, scorers, and contractors with ongoing coaching and development.
• Direct the accreditation tech stack, data governance, dashboards, and reporting.
