Job summary

Tower Health, including Reading Hospital, seeks an Accounts Payable Lead to oversee the AP department and ensure accurate processing of all AP transactions. You will direct operations, manage vendor relationships, and drive efficiency through technology-enabled improvements.

You will lead a team, monitor KPIs, and present financial metrics while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the AP function.

Qualifications

• 4 year Bachelor\'s Degree required or equivalent experience in accounts payable/finance.
• Extensive accounts payable experience required with leadership exposure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and stakeholder relations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages the processing of all accounts payable transactions.
• Directs day-to-day operations and strategic direction for the AP Department.
• Maintains relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Drives process improvements and uses technology to enhance payment accuracy and speed.
• Prepares and presents AP metrics, aging reports, cash flow, and vendor spend analyses.
• Monitors KPIs to drive team performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Supervises, mentors and develops a team of AP professionals.

Job summary

• Manages the day-to-day operations and strategic direction for the AP Department, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Maintains strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Drives process improvements and uses technology to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the payment process
• Prepares and presents AP metrics and reports, including aging reports, cash flow projections and vendor spend analyses
• Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to track team performance and identify areas for improvement
