Job summary

CFO Systems, LLC is seeking experienced Directors to deliver strategic financial, operational, or HR leadership on a flexible, contract basis. You will work embedded within client leadership teams across the country, solving complex challenges, identifying opportunities, and driving initiatives that create measurable value.

You will build a portfolio of meaningful client relationships while maintaining autonomy and flexibility in how you contribute your expertise.

Qualifications

Directors serve as trusted advisors and embedded members of client leadership teams. Depending on their area of expertise, Directors may provide strategic financial, operational, or human resources leadership while helping clients solve challenges, identify opportunities, and execute initiatives that support their long-term goals.

This role offers the opportunity to build a portfolio of meaningful client relationships while maintaining flexibility and autonomy.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a trusted advisor to organizations, owners, executives & teams
• Provide strategic leadership & hands-on support within your area of expertise
• Assess client needs and develop practical, results-oriented recommendations
• Lead initiatives involving budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, performance management, operational improvement, organizational planning, or related priorities
• Translate complex information into clear insights that enable better decision-making
• Help clients establish processes, accountability, and performance measures that support sustainable growth
• Manage client engagements, priorities, timelines, and deliverables
• Build strong, long-term relationships based on trust, responsiveness, and measurable value
• Collaborate with other CFO Systems Directors and subject-matter experts when clients need additional expertise
• Identify opportunities where CFO Systems can provide additional value to clients and prospects
• Contribute to relationship development, networking & referrals
