The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Mgr, Nutrition within the Fulton County Board of Health in the WIC Division.

This is a WIC Grant Funding position.
Provides nutrition, breastfeeding and operational support to WIC program employees, agency partners, and training specialist as assigned by the NSD. Provide direct onsite supervision to program training and support staff as assigned by NSD. Assist Nutrition Services Director to insure appropriate district-level process implementations that align with local, state, and federal policies and guidelines of the Georgia WIC Program. Assist NSD with data collection and reporting metrics to track participation, outcomes, and performance. Ensure FFY completion of local agency self reviews as required by State WIC Office by assisting NSD and Nutrition Program Management with documenting, monitoring, and evaluating the program for compliance to improve program effectiveness and efficiencies. Provides oversight of non-administrative funds (i.e. Special Project A Funds associated with Operational Adjustment Grant, partnerships grants, etc.) following compliance of federal, state, and local standards. Assist with grants, strategic planning, and development for nutrition services. Coordinates internships, WIC Farmer's Market team.
Bachelor's degree in dietetics, human nutrition, food & nutrition, nutrition education, food systems management, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university from an Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics accredited program and four (4) years of nutrition experience, which includes two (2) years in a managerial or supervisory role and registration as a Dietitian by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics Commission and licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in dietetics, human nutrition, food & nutrition, nutrition education, food systems management, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university from an Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics accredited program and five (5) years of nutrition experience which includes, which includes two (2) years in a managerial or supervisory role.
