Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; at least 5 years operating directional drill heavy equipment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass written and hands-on tests.
• Valid Georgia CDL with endorsements required; Bucket Truck Rescue Certification, CPR and DOT Flagging training required.

Responsibilities

• Lead directional drilling operations to install conduit/cable for electrical and telecommunications networks.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in power distribution construction and repair.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and safety inspections on machinery; report faults promptly.
• Assist in installation of transformers, insulators, and related equipment on poles; coordinate with crews.
• Respond to outages and emergencies, including after-hours work as needed.
• Provide leadership and training to crew members; ensure job site safety and regulatory compliance.
