Job summary

NPL Construction (S4) in Kansas City, KS is seeking an experienced Directional Drill Operator with a CDL to join our field crew. After paid training, you will operate heavy equipment, move materials, and follow safety protocols under a Foreman's supervision.

You will perform pre-shift inspections, assist with general labor, and comply with DOT and site safety rules. English fluency and a valid driver's license are required; benefits include health insurance, retirement, and paid training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year experience safely operating equipment in close proximity to workers and underground utilities.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, backhoe, trencher, paver, dozer, milling saw, road grater, hydro-excavator, track hoe and more.
• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Maintain daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment
• Maintain all industry-required Operator Qualifications
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership
