A leading utility construction company is looking for a Directional Drill Operator in Akron, OH. You will be responsible for operating directional bore equipment and will assist the foreman and crew with various utilities tasks. The ideal candidate must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) and have experience with underground utility installations. Qualifications
Must have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing).
Understanding of underground utility installations.
Ideal candidates will read blueprints and follow specifications.
Ability to communicate effectively with teammates.
Willingness to work and follow directions.
Willingness to travel is a plus.
Responsibilities
Operate directional bore equipment for underground construction.
Assist foreman and supervisors with their duties.
Operate trenchers, plows, backhoes, and bobcats.
Work with crews to complete tasks in the field.
Use tampers, jackhammers, drills, and saws as needed.
